welcome teachers!
Are you a teacher who wants to use more technology in the classroom, but you don't know how to start? I felt the same way 5 years ago, and through the awesome support and collaboration with my more tech savvy colleagues I have managed to learn a thing or two about incorporating technology into my classroom.
Full Disclosure: I am not someone who is particularly technologically talented. I still am in the process of learning new things all of the time, so this site may continue to grow as I do.
Nevertheless, I thought it would be nice to compile what I have learned and pay it forward to any teachers who would like to get started without feeling too overwhelmed. This site contains basic advice to help you get started on the path to learning how technology can help save you time and give your students extra support. Just like anything else the more you work at it the better you get, so don't be afraid to explore and play around with things until you get the hang of it.
Good Luck!

step 2: start with the basics
A great way to accomplish the some or all of the goals on the list above is to check out some of the resources that are listed below and see what you would like to try first. I started out by making a class website. This seems like an intimidating and time consuming process, but it doesn't have to be. (I recommend using www.weebly.com) It is super easy to use and allows you to customize it to your class and your student's needs. There are also tools such as remind and google classroom that come in app formats that you and your students can use on phones, tablets, and home computers. I use all of the resources below in one way or another if you have specific question feel free to contact me!
step 3: use effective resources
